After starting it a couple of years ago, I finally finished "The Other Morgan." And then I actually posted it. So there it is.

In other news, I live. I continue to sit on my ass in boredom most of the day (or try not to), apply for jobs, not hear anything back from prospective employers, drain my modest little savings account to keep hospital bills out of the hands of collections agencies, and generally despair about life in general. Also, I read books to alleviate the boredom and occasionally try to write. Eventually someone will take pity on me and employ me. It'll be a crappy job for minimum wage, but I don't care. Minimum wage is far superior to no wage.

Good books I've read lately -- General Winston's Daughter by Sharon Shinn, Dream Angus by Alexander McCall Smith, and Widdershins by Charles de Lint. I read books for teeny boppers on occasion. They're not depressing. I'd like to read The Forest of Hands and Teeth, but it has zombies in it and I'm prone to nightmares about zombies. I'll read it anyway, I'm sure, but not until it comes out in paperback.

Also, WTF is a journal skin? Hah. Haven't posted a journal in ages.
